Google has launched Google Docs and Spreadsheets, as read on TechCrunch. This incorporates both Google Spreadsheets as well as the not-so-recently bought Writely.com
Haven’t really played with it very much yet, but it seems to work pretty well, and its all themed Google-style which is nice, easy to use, and as fast as ever.
This is yet another step forward to Google’s goal of having all user data in one place, which is all easily accessible from anywhere with an internet connection. That is, so long as you’re OK with having your private files stored on Google servers…
